Renovation & Painting
Main Floor Transformation
Marco M. · Orleans, Ontario · Completed July 2026
Project overview
Marco's main floor had not been touched since the early 2000s: mustard walls, stained oak casing and a chair rail that cut every room in half. We removed the dated millwork, repaired the walls behind it, and rebuilt the palette around a soft sage feature wall and crisp white trim.
Project scope
- —Removed chair rail and legacy oak casing throughout
- —Re-taped, floated and sanded 90 linear feet of wall
- —Installed and finished new poplar baseboard and casing
- —Primed and applied two finish coats to all surfaces
- —Sage feature wall in the great room

“They treated our home better than we do. Everything was masked, swept and put back every single evening — and the finished result completely changed the floor.”
